A Dimir deck with a lot of draw/discard would find this little guy a great fit, and I think you could argue that the ability to exile things you can't or don't plan on getting back is worth it to get a card (assuming flying gets you over blockers)
Im happy that the first thing that Im doing at CommandFest Orlando is drafting with March of the Machine
Sure, there are still 28 red energy cards and another 22 colorless ones you can include in a Motherlode deck, but it just wont hit the same as an energy deck with access to Bristling Hydra or Razorfield Ripper
Its also a great source of mid-game ramp, since it finds more lands and lets you play an extra one each turn
You can't get extra value from blinking it, but bouncing and recasting it works just fine, making it real nice with cards like Time Wipe or Chulane, Teller of Tales
The biggest issue with this card is its considerably circumstantial, so while its pretty good, it wont always be the most useful card to have in hand
